2026 Storytellers
Book & Music Festival

Set in the scenic mountain village of Pine Mountain Club, the 2026 Storytellers Book and Music Festival blends literature and music in a one-of-a-kind cultural celebration. Hosted by Books in the Woods, the festival brings together bestselling authors, local musicians, and community storytellers for a weekend of book signings, live performances, and interactive workshops.

With a strong focus on youth literacy, the event includes dedicated spaces for kids and teens, fostering creativity and a love of reading. The festival benefits the Frazier Mountain community and greater Kern County by supporting local businesses, enhancing cultural life, and uniting residents and visitors through the shared power of story and song.
